Wednesday Prayer Service
We would like to invite you to the Wednesday night prayer service that is held weekly from 5:00 to 5:45 p.m. in the Chapel.  This service has a short message, lifting up of prayer needs, opening and closing prayers and availability to fill out prayer cards.
Your participation and prayer requests are important to fulfill God's will for our church and our community.  People from all over Cleburne are attending and we want you to be a part of this special service, as well.  It will enhance your prayer life.  Join us this Wednesday!
If you have a prayer request, you may submit it by sending an email to:  churchoffice@fumccleburne.com

A Letter To All Involved in the Prayer Ministry:
Our church in the mid 1990s was floundering with no growth, but because of the dedication of former pastors and our current pastor, as well as dedicated lay people like Bob & Marilyn King, Lorna Smith, Van Boston, Roanna Timmins and Verdye Lackey, our prayer ministry has been the cornerstone of our church revival.  The Prayer Team for 2012 seeks to embark on new and expanded goals as we seek the will of God.

Sincerely,
Robert H. Herzig, Vance Castles & Camilla Castles

Prayer Room:
At First UMC we have a vital Prayer Ministry that prays regularly for any request that comes to us. There are Prayer Cards that can be used to submit requests. Every week “prayer partners” come to our beautiful Prayer Room and pray over these cards individually. The cards are dated and initialed and after thirty days are sent back to the person with the assurance that their request has been prayed for.
