SMALL TALK: Rediscovering the language of our faith, again (or for the first time!)
Let’s be honest, some of the language Christians use is hard to understand, distorted from its original intended meanings, and often arrogant. We hear phrases on street corners from bullhorns such as “are you ‘saved’?” and most of us step back and wonder, what does “saved” even mean?
In the 6 weeks leading up to Easter, together during THE VINE, we will wrestle with some of the common language of our faith and rediscover this language in its intended fullness. We will begin to re-learn the common talk of our faith and reclaim it...so that our Christian faith isn’t reduced to mere "small talk!"

Happy Hearts Sewing Ministry
We are happy to report that God has allowed us to produce 4,770 total pillow cases since we began September 2009. These are for the young patients at Cook's Children's Hospital and they get to take theirs home with them. The pillow cases are prayed over before they are delivered to the hospital. This sewing ministry has the privilege of touching the lives of many children, their families and even the hospital staff with the gifts of these pillow cases. We meet Tuesdays, 10:00 a.m. - 12 noon. Join us any time!
