MUSIC MINISTRY

 

TRADITIONAL MUSIC
At First United Methodist Church of Cleburne we have opportunities for you to participate in the music and worship arts. The traditional music ministries focus on Christ-centered music, fellowship, friendship, and most importantly the sharing of the gospel of Christ through music in worship and special musical events. It is our hope that everyone who participates in the music ministries program is challenged to grow in Christ and to experience God's unconditional love through the love of music that we share.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE
Sundays
10:00 AM - Chancel Choir Warm Up
11:00 AM - Chancel Choir leads our traditional worship service.

Wednesdays
6:30 PM - 8:30 PM   - Bells of Praise, handbell choir practice in the sanctuary.
7:30 PM - 8:30 PM   - Chancel Choir practice in the choir room.

MODERN MUSIC
The Modern Worship band leads the worship for the 9 a.m. Sunday service and is open to youth and adults with vocal or instrumental experience. In addition, this team may provide music for other events in and outside of the church. Membership is by audition and on an as-needed basis. Rehearsals for the band are Sundays beginning at 7:45 a.m. For more information and/or to volunteer, contact our Director of Modern Worship, Jacob Manning.
