COME BE BLESSED!
Join us at any of our worship services on August 13th for Blessing of the Backpacks. During each worship service, we'll invite all our students, teachers, school administrators, and school staff to come forward for a prayer of blessing over them and their backpacks/workbags, and we'll give everyone a tag to add to their backpack, reminding them that they are loved and prayed for by FUMC Cleburne. 

 

We'll kick off a new sermon series that Sunday on Who is My Neighbor? We'll see where Jesus gave us the answer to the question and explore how we can intentionally love our neighbors whether we encounter them in our schools, workplaces, or along the road. 

 

Then join us at noon for our Back to School Bash and Ministry Fair! Our United Methodist Men are cooking up a great meal to celebrate sending our students back to school, and our church ministries will have booths available to explore the many ways to get plugged in at FUMC.
